CITY HALL—the Columbus Junction City Hall is located at 232 2nd street. The hours are from 8 a.m. to 12 noon and from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The phone number is 728-7971. Or you can reach them by email at cjcityclerk@iowatelecom.net  City Hall handles sewer and water hook-ups, garbage and recycling tags, and building permits.

LAW ENFORCEMENT—Columbus Junction has four full-time police officers and three volunteer reserve officers. Columbus City and Fredonia are part of the Louisa County Unified Law Enforcement (ULE) system dispatched through the sheriff’s office in Wapello. The Columbus Junction police stations number is (319) 728-2421.
