MAYOR OF COLUMBUS JUNCTION - Dan
Wilson has been Mayor of Columbus Junction on and off for 13 years. He grew up here and loves making a difference in the community.
He enjoys the food culture, the growth and the diversity that CJ offers.
Mayor Wilson loves small town living, feels that we have a nice
location and the fact that we are within a driving distance to
Washington, Iowa City - Coralville and Muscatine is a benefit. He feels that in order
to understand the community, you must volunteer with community
activities, meet new folks and get involved.

CITY HALL—The Columbus Junction
City Hall is located at 232 2nd street. The hours are from 8 a.m. to 12
noon and from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The phone

City Hall handles sewer and water hook-ups, garbage and
recycling tags and building permits.

ENFORCEMENT—Columbus Junction has three full-time police
officers and three volunteer reserve officers. Columbus City and
Fredonia are part of the Louisa County Unified Law Enforcement system dispatched
through the sheriff’s office in Wapello. For emergencies call 911, for
