The best way to learn about and become comfortable with any language or culture is to experience it. The Immersion Weekend in Columbus Junction will provide a unique opportunity for you to participate in everyday activities just as you would if you were living in a foreign country. Those experiences coupled with presentations and classes designed to develop language and cultural knowledge allow you to sentirse mas cómodo en el mundo hispano.

Accommodations are with host families making the whole weekend a learning experience.

The Immersion Weekend in Columbus Junction is a collaboration of ISU Extension-Louisa County, Columbus Junction Community Development Center and Civic Society of Columbus. Financial support is provided by the Community Foundation of Louisa County.

$160 per person, $80 without lodging and breakfast
