 Litter is a problem that can be controlled. Quick removal of litter keeps it from growing into an unmanageable dump site. Do your part this summer to Keep Columbus Beautiful – pick up litter when you can.

Volunteers needed

The Community Development Center will have a booth at the Johnson County Fair again this year. Volunteers are needed to staff it – which means chat with people and hand out information

Tuesday, July 27 from 10am – 9pm

Thursday, July 29 from 10am – 5pm

* 2 or 3 hours shifts *

Enjoy the Johnson County fair and Kalona bars while showing off your community.

All sessions will be held at the Columbus Junction Civic Center, 232 Second St.

FARMERS MARKET   

It’s sweet corn time!!!!! you can also expect an abundance of tomatoes, green beans, summer squash, baked goods and the best caramel corn in Louisa County!

Our market is held every Friday afternoon at the American Legion parking lot 4:30-6:30.
