Our mission is to serve Columbus Junction area residents and businesses by facilitating financial support for organizations that build  a stronger community and improves lives. This is done by collecting donations, many through payroll deduction, and disbursing funds annually. The employees of Tyson - Columbus Junction facility are the largest contributor group.

In addition, in response to the 2008 flood we created a Flood Relief Fund used to  facilitate the recovery in ways not addressed or completely financed by FEMA, SBA, Red Cross and other disaster agencies. The Diocese of Davenport is the largest contributor to this fund donating $22,000 dollars.  Money was disbursed to Louisa County residents and organizations that also were impacted by the flood.

The United Fund of Columbus Junction accepts application for assistance annually in  May for disbursement in June.

We are always accepting donations and any amount is greatly appreciated!
